I happen to be working in Singapore, so I can watch both Singapore & Malaysian Idol.

Taufik & Sylvester are both good singers in their own styles. Taufik's into soul/R&B whereas Sylvester is into Mandarin pop/rock.

Somehow, these days they don't seem so popular as when Singapore Idol was shown last year. Maybe it's a cooling off period for now.

Hi There

Me happen to be at Orchard and there Slyvester and another Taiwanese singer autograph sessions took their photos but the crowd was not that huge actually. Just about 150-200 people.

Taufik is more popular than Sylvester. When Taufik was around usually he had > 300 ppl, big crowd.
